Farmer Tad

You can see now that walking is the only way to travel now! He loves to push the buttons on his fridge farm toy. He especially likes the "She'll be Comin' Around the Mountain" song. He usually pushes the button until that one starts. In the video he kept pushing the button, but he pushed it once more and switched the song. He doesn't seem to mind which song is on. As long as there is music.

Good Walker

This is a short video I shot of Gabe when I was making dinner one night. It was probably early July when he really got the hang of it.

My Little Fish

Still getting used to the pool. Not so sure if he really likes it yet. He is still thinking about it.

Okay now we like to swim outside!

Here is some video taken back in June when we let Gabe "swim" in his sandbox. He wasn't so sure about it at first. It took about five minutes before he wanted to sit in it by himself. I thought he would love it since he loves taking a bath. He loves to swim now. We go over to my dad's house and swim in his pool.

More Dancing

Here is another short video of Gabe shaking his booty! He loves music and loves to dance.

The Little Dancing Machine

Here is some video taken back in June. Sorry it has taken me so long to get it up here. It has been a very busy summer. Between JazzerKamp, Day Camp, Upper Elementary Camp and Dan switching jobs we have been busy. This is a short video of Gabe dancing while he crawls around.

Step by Step

This is some video I took when Gabe was still getting used to walking on his own. He was only taking about 4-5 steps then. Now he is almost walking everywhere. He's so close.

1 Year Photo Shoot!!

We took Gabe last week for his 12 month photo shoot. The pictures turned out really cute. He smiled in a lot of his pictures. Of course we had to pick out more than 1 pose.

I love this one of him standing.

Here is one of him crawling. We had a lot of these shots because the little man didn't want to sit still and pose.

I just think this one is really cute. He even has his feet crossed sitting on the block. We didn't even have to pose him, isn't he a natural!

It's Fun to be One!!

Gabe had a wonderful 1st birthday. We loved having our friends and family here to celebrate with us. For those of you that couldn't make it, or if you want to see the pics again, here is the big day.

Here is a pic of Gabe modeling a new outfit!

Gabe also has lots of new cars and trucks to play with.

He's not sure what to think about his new rocking horse just yet.

He really likes his new train.

The step-stool was one of his favorite gifts. It makes noise when you pound on it!

Gabe really likes books, especially ones he can touch and feel. Here he is reading a new book with daddy!

Gabe also loves animals.

Here are the cake pictures. Gabe just wanted to touch the cake at first.

Then he started getting a little messy. With the help of daddy of course!

Here is where daddy is helping Gabe taste the cake.

Here is video of Gabe eating his cake. He liked it, but he wouldn't put it in his mouth by himself. Daddy was helping him.

Gabe's 1st Easter

We went to Ammy and Papa's for Gabe's first Easter. He had lots of fun with his cousins.

Here are the cousins dying the eggs. Gabe is getting help from his mommy.

Ta Da! Here is the finished product. Gabe picked the color!

He is really into the Easter eggs. Here he is diving into the bucket of eggs. He must have seen a pink one on the bottom.

Cousin Harrison and Gabe are both looking for the "best" egg.

Gabe even got to hunt for eggs this year. With the help of his Aunt Peggy. Can you see the color of the one he found? Pink, imagine that. I think pink is his favorite color.

Here is Gabe with Aunt Peggy and his easter basket with the eggs inside. Doesn't he look big holding that basket.

Forward Now!

The middle of March Gabe started crawling forward. He really has the hang of it now. He is even getting good at pulling himself up to things now. It won't be long and he'll be walking.

Backward Motion

Gabe is doing a really good job getting around, backwards that is. He hasn't quite figured out how to go forward. This video shows how he is moving around the house. Every once in a while he will get his legs under the couch and then he needs helping getting them out.

No, No, No

Here is a video of Gabe shaking his head. He shakes it when we say no, no, no, or if he sees someone shaking their head. He does this on a regular basis. Gabe thinks it's funny.

"Daddy's taking us to the zoo tomorrow..."

Daddy took Gabe to the Zoo on Feb. 7, I took him the day before. I think he had a good time looking at the animals and bonding with his daddy.

9 Months!

Daddy took Gabe to get his 9 month pictures taken. He loves the camera. I can't believe how big he has gotten. He loves to stand, but not on his own yet. He likes to "crawl" backwards. He pushes backwards onto his knees and sits down. He won't go forward yet, but it is a matter of time before he realizes he can. He's been saying mama and dada for almost 2 months now. He says mama when he is mad or sad. But dada when he is happy. Oh well.

Bubble With Ammy

I just thought these pics were cute of Gabe in the tub. Papa, Ammy, and Aunt Sarah were down to visit and Ammy gave Gabe his bath. He absolutely loves bathtime.

Swinging

There was a beautiful day in January and I took Gabe outside to use his swing for the first time. He wasn't sure about it at first, but now he really enjoys it.

Clapping

This was when Gabe was 8 months old and started clapping his hands. This video is funny. He claps at the beginning, but then he gets excited and flaps his arms.

Practice Makes Perfect

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything. We have been really busy. The holidays came and went and I think we are finally done playing catch up. This is a video of Gabe walking behind a toy (or at least trying to walk). This was taken when he was 7 months. As you can see he doesn't quite get it, but daddy wanted him to try.
